Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Ottawa Blizzards Soccer. By registering for a program, attending an event, or using our website (obsacademy.com), you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. General

Ottawa Blizzards Soccer LTD. (“we,” “our,” “us”) provides soccer training programs, recreational soccer programs, and community events.

These Terms & Conditions apply to all participants, parents/guardians of minors, and adult players.

2. Program Registration & Payment

Program fees must be paid in full prior to participation unless otherwise agreed.

OBS Academy reserves the right to cancel, reschedule, or modify programs. Refunds or credits will be issued in accordance with our refund policy.

3. Code of Conduct

Participants are expected to:

Treat coaches, referees, and fellow participants with respect.

Refrain from disruptive, abusive, or unsafe behavior.

Comply with all facility rules and regulations.

Failure to follow these rules may result in removal without refund.

4. Health & Safety

Participants must disclose any relevant medical conditions prior to participation.

If a player is injured or unwell, Ottawa Blizzards Soccer staff may, at their discretion, restrict or suspend participation for the player’s safety.

Parents/guardians are responsible for ensuring their child arrives and departs safely from sessions.

5. Liability Waiver & Assumption of Risk

By registering or participating in any Ottawa Blizzards Soccer program, you acknowledge and agree:

Soccer is a physical sport with inherent risks, including but not limited to falls, collisions, and injuries.

You (or your child) voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation.

You release and hold harmless Ottawa Blizzards Soccer Ltd., its coaches, staff, and affiliates from any liability, claims, or damages arising from participation, except in cases of gross negligence or intentional misconduct.

In case of emergency, you authorize Ottawa Blizzards Soccer LTD. staff to arrange medical treatment as necessary, with costs to be borne by you.

6. Media Release

By participating, you grant OBS Academy permission to use photos, videos, and testimonials featuring you or your child for promotional purposes. If you wish to opt out, please notify us in writing.

7. Privacy

We respect your privacy. Please review our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect your information.

8. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada.
